Gerard Baker is Editor-in-Chief of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones, roles he assumed on January 1, 2013.
Prior to his appointment, Gerry served as the Journal's Deputy Editor-in-Chief. Gerry previously worked for the Financial Times, BBC, and the Times of London.
Gerry started his working life as an analyst at the Bank of England, and then as an economist in the city of London. He was educated at Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, where he graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
