The Page Society partnered with The Diverse Future to offer a week-long intensive program on May 16-20 in Lenox, MA, to help equip rising executives of color to succeed at the top of their enterprises. The Diverse Future was founded by Mark Carter, a former media executive, with support from the Ford Foundation, as a program that focuses on expanding diversity in news and information companies, with highly positive results for both participants and their sponsoring organizations.
This Page-sponsored program brought together 12 communications executives - including nine from Page member companies and three from news and information companies - to discuss professional development as well as critical issues confronting today's enterprises. The instructors included several Page Society members and other experts in communications and professional development who provided a comprehensive look at the future of the PR profession and the news and information landscape. Participants also received personalized coaching and mentorship to support their professional advancement.
The class size was limited to 12 participants to ensure this remained a highly engaging and personalized executive education experience.
